TONY BRUNO CUSTOM AMPS
All our studios feature one or more Tony Bruno Custom Amplifiers including the Underground 30, Cow Tipper 45, Pony 50, Super 100, Lead Man 60, and Tweedy Pie. Several of our new Jazz Studios also offer Jazz models of the Cow Tipper with amazing tube Jazz tone. Point to point hand wired masterpieces with "The Tone That Stands Alone", Tony Bruno is a maestro of amplifier design. The Underground 30 was a solid winner of Guitar Player Magazine's February 1997 shoot-out between 23 of the worlds finest boutique amps. It also won Guitar Player's coveted The Years Best Gear Award for 1997 in the Nov. 97 issue. Every amp is hand built by Tony and only about 65 of these legendary amps are produced each year. Every bruno is sold before it can be built but these sonic wonders are absolutely worth the wait.

KOMET
Many of our larger studios feature a Komet 60 or Komet Concord. Ken Fischer designed these amps to retain all the qualities of the best vintage amps and go far beyond. These amplifiers will give you the complex clarity of the best clean sounds, a seamless transition into distortion, and all-out high gain - all controllable with your pick attack and your guitar's volume control. These amplifiers sound imminently natural and musical and feel like the amp is wired to your fingertips, reacting precisely to every nuance of your playing. These amps set the benchmark for their superb quality of construction and Trainwreck style balanced tone and huge harmonic complexity.

MATCHLESS
All our studios feature one or more Matchless amps including the DC30 and Chieftain Reverb. The DC30 was the hands down favorite in Guitar Player Magazine's March 1992 amp shoot-out and a favorite in the Feb. 1997 boutique comparison. The Matchless Chieftain Reverb "stands head and shoulders above the rest" in their Dec. 1995 50 watt shoot-out. These amps are no longer made and have become very sought after by collectors. Matchless amps are a favorite among session players and recording artists for good reason - they have amazing Class A tone and complexity.

Diezel
Many of our larger studios feature the amazing Diezel VH4 or Herbert. The VH4 is a 4-power tube guitar amplifier head. It features 4 channels, for 4 distinctly different guitar sounds. It's sound is best described as High Definition/High gain/Tight. It is magnificent recording amplifier, but also at home on the worlds biggest arena stages. The Herbert is a 6-power tube guitar amplifier head. It features 3 channels, for 3 distinct different guitar sounds and has a built in adjustable mid scoop with lever control. Both amps have full midi control, multiple effect loops, and many more features. Diezel amps are the finest 3 and 4 channel amps on the planet.

DR.Z
All our studios feature one or more Dr.Z amps including the Maz 38 Reverb, Route 66, KT45, Z28, Maz 18 Reverb, Prescription and others. Dr.Z Amps are without a doubt the finest hand wired boutique amps built today at their price point. Dr.Zs philosophy of giving players much more amp than anyone could expect for the price is what makes their amps both unique and such an amazingly good value. That said Dr.Z amps can hold their own sonically against many other boutique amps that cost hundreds or even thousands more. Many top rock, blues and country artists who could play anything choose Dr.Z amps even when price is no object.

ALESSANDRO HIGH-END 
Many of our studios offer amps built by George Alessandro who builds High Fidelity guitar amps with extraordinary results. George has developed circuits which are elegant in their simplicity, and which, when combined with carefully selected, ultra-premium components, provides a harmonically rich sonic experience. Several of our new Jazz Studios also offer the Alessandro Italian, an all-tube high-powered Jazz amp with a 2 x 6550-based power amp, a 2 x 6SL7 all-octal preamp, and reverb. The perfect amp for big, rich, clean jazz guitar.

VICTORIA 
Many of our studios offer the 45410-T Tweed Bassman and 50212-T low powered Tweed Twin, and Double Deluxe. Several of our new Jazz Studios also offer a Jazz model of the Victorilux with a 15" speaker. Guitar Player Magazine said the Victoria Bassman wins the Best Replica award and is very authentic. In their review of the Tweed Twin they said "Besides setting a new authenticity standard for tweed-era reproductions, the Victoria 50212-T also managed to surpass the tone of this classic Fender amp."  Known and highly respected for their reliable Point to point wired Tweed designs Victoria has branched out with other very cool amps including Jazz and other retro models.

VHT
Guitar Player Magazine described the Pittbull:  "The VHT Pittbulls... deliver all the features you expect from a modern rock amp. Super high gain, an intelligent effects loop, bullet-proof construction and super clean tones --- something the others seem happy to ignore."  Several of our studios feature the VHT Ultra Lead, CL50 or Pittbull 45 which was the mid price winner of  Guitar Player Magazine's Dec. 1995 - 50 Watt amp shoot-out. They said the Pittbull 45 "simply chewed up most of its competition including some in the top buck category."

MARSHALL
What can one say about Marshall. A legend in his own time Jim Marshall invented "The" rock and roll amp. Marshall has become the worlds largest amplifier manufacturer and Ultra Sound features Marshall amps in almost every studio including two or more of the following:  JCM 2000, JCM900, JCM800 (both EL34 & 6550 versions), JTM60, JTM45, & Plexi.

CORNFORD
Some of our larger studios offer the MK50H and Hellcat. The idea behind Cornford amps was to produce something that captures the rich, classic tones of amps from the past, whilst having the flexibility demanded by the modern player. Cornford amplifiers are hand built and will last a lifetime by employing traditional construction methods and using only the highest quality components. Cornford does not use PCBs of any sort and all their amps are totally hand wired throughout. Cornford amps have wonderful British style clean tones and Paul Cornfords famous "Brown" hi gain overdrive sound.

MESA BOOGIE
In 1970 Randall Smith's Mark I unearthed the high gain tone that is so copied and sought after. Over the years Mesa Boogie amps have received too many magazine accolades and top artist endorsements to even list. Ultra Sound features the DC5 or Single Rectifier in every regular studio and both the Dual Rectifier Trem-O-Verb and Heartbreaker in our bigger studios.  Extremely versatile amps with good tone and sustain, these amps deliver.

SANGREAL
We have an amazing new SanGreal acoustic instrument amp in the Ultra Studio. The superb sound is the result of combining a super power mid/high ribbon driver, exotic ferro fluid bass driver, state-of-the-art preamplifiers and dual power amps. The magnificent tone of our C Bechstein concert grand piano and acoustic guitars are reproduced perfectly by the SanGreal. An optional vacuum tube preamplifier provides the classic warm tonality that many performers find desirable. A unique acoustic cabinet design and operational features provide optimal functionality and flexibility. The SanGreal has four inputs comprised of two instrument inputs, a microphone input, a line level input; and, as a special feature, the two effect return jacks can be used as auxiliary inputs for use with CD/MPEG players and rhythm/metronome devices. The SanGreal has two 200 watt power amplifiers in a bi-amplifer configuration utilizing an active frequency cross-over network.

VOX
Many of our larger studios offer the Ultimate AC30. Designed by amp genius Tony Bruno, The Vox Limited Edition Hand Wired AC 30 preserves the pristine design that made the AC30 a classic, while adding several enhancements for the ultimate in top-of-the-line VOX amplification. The amplifiers feature completely hand-wired tag board assembly, all tube design, and custom hand-wound transformers. The transformers are exact replicas of the Albion transformers used in the original AC30s. The new hand wired AC30s feature a single VOX Top Boost channel, twin inputs (High and Low), Classic Tremolo with variable Speed and Depth adjustment and a tube driven reverb unit with Level and Tone controls.

BOGNER 
Most of our studios offer the Bogner Shiva amplifier in either EL34, 6L6, or EL84 versions all with the optional dual channel reverb. A few studios also offer the Ecstasy amplifier, a high gain 3 channel, 100 watt tube head. Very flexible with loads of tone and features, these extraordinary guitar amps are hand made in California and are the choice of many pros.

ROLAND
Many of our studios offer a Roland Jazz Chorus amplifier because it is the king of solid state pop chorus. No other amp can match it's unique clean stereo chorus solid state sound and if that's what your after this is your baby. Still very popular and an important tool for some players.

FENDER
Many of our studios have one or more of the following Fender amps: Twin Reverb, Pro Reverb, and/or Hot Rod Deville. Both the Twin and Pro Reverb amps are the classic american low gain tube amps. The Deville is all modern and has 3 channels of tube sound from the clean all the way to high gain. The classic american amp company with the "Fender" sound.
